Amazing service from Nick. We collected our Swift Challenger on a Friday afternoon in July, The caravan was gleaming, just as it was when we saw it 2 weeks prior. to buying it. Nick went through everything we needed to know about the caravan with a fine tooth comb! there was no rushing and he was extremely patient. As we haven’t owned a caravan for 20 years he made sure we had everything we required, he even answered our help call during England’s quarter final! that’s dedication and he fixed our concern (the fridge door wasn’t shut properly and was making a beeping noise!!) Thank you so much Nick we will definitely recommend you to our friends and family.

Having never owned or travelled in a mobile caravan, I spent a long time researching and deciding what was best for my three dogs and I to embark on our adventures. I visited numerous dealers up and down the country and was incredibly fortunate to find Nick Mallender, Blackdown Leisure on my doorstep. We recently purchased a Bailey Pageant Sancerre series 7 from Nick and we are extremely pleased with the van. More importantly we were both extremely happy with the service and approach of Nick. Nick was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, informative and not in the least pushy. He was extremely honest and upfront with everything about the van, including the 1 very minor snag we had (the shower door had a very slight crack which he then had repaired). The purchase was straightforward and the “walk round” after purchase, which Nick insists on to ensure we know how everything works, was very comprehensive and informative. Knowing we were returning to caravanning after a few years break he even threw in 2 gas bottles, a step and a mains hook up lead at no cost. All in all, a five star service from an honest and enthusiastic dealer.

Hi, would just like to say a huge thank you! in July 2014 Ray came looking for his next adventure, he was so excited to have found what he had been searching for, he interrupted my bowls match to tell me about it. The next morning we went back to have another look. So pleased we came when we did, as others were looking for the same thing. Luckily we found Nick, we had been searching for some time, dealing with some large companies who were not really interested in what we wanted , just what they wanted to sell us. Nick was not a pushy salesman, made sure we were looking at what we needed, showed us a few different options and then went out of his way to look at the item we wanted to part exchange. Nick then delivered our Sterling Elite Overlander to us on site the day we started our first two week holiday, he then talked us through the whole van and made sure we knew how everything worked and had his number to call if we got stuck. we have made many different purchases over the years to do with holidays and have never had such good service. The holiday was stress free and we have already enjoyed some weekends away. Sorry for the delay but we felt that we should express our complete satisfaction with the service we received from Blackdown Caravan Sales. We purchased our first caravan, we are in our early 60′s, in September and the service and help we received from Nick and Martin was second to none. We have taken the caravan to a small camp site locally for a weekend, had to telephone Nick with a query who was very helpful and sorted the problem over the telephone. Not a problem with the caravan but due to the connection of electricity on site. We loved every minute of it and hopefully this will become a regular event. Mark and I just wanted to send you an email to say how impressed we were with your service when we came to view some caravans a while ago and then actually, rather unexpectedly, decided to buy the lovely Swift Coastline off you both!! We only popped into your site whilst getting Mark’s bike serviced up in Taunton and had only been thinking about buying a fixed bed van, so we certainly didn’t expect to put down a deposit on that day!! What a refreshing change to find a caravan sales place with people who were friendly, yet professional, not pushy and did everything they promised they would. Believe us, we have been to some awful caravan sales places before and yours certainly isn’t one of those!! Your vans were all presented beautifully and it certainly seems that you take much pride in your business.

Neither of you were pushy in any way and you let us make up our own minds in peace and quiet whilst sat in the Coastline sipping the coffee you kindly made us and discussing our finances. You were both very helpful and knowledgeable and we were also impressed with the aftersales service also. You made sure that our caravan was lovely and clean before we took it away and you also got it thoroughly checked over and the little things that you said you would sort out before handing it over were indeed done, as promised. We used it for the first time this weekend to ‘test it out’ and it was fantastic. The fixed bed was very comfortable and Aaron slept very well on the front bench too.

Sometimes when you are traveling about you bump into some nice people this happened when we happened to pass by Blackdown Caravans when going on holiday up to Minehead and we popped in, after looking around all over the place in Cornwall and Devon. We found exactly what we wanted and 3 weeks later we went for another look, we bought it there and then. Picked it up a week later after PDI, We drove from Cornwall to Taunton, Nick was brilliant, nothing was to much trouble 10/10 customer service. Go independent they survive on their reputation. We have just collected our new Coachman VIP from Blackdown Caravans at wellington. What amazing service from the first point of contact to driving off the premises, far superior to some of the bigger companies in the locality.Nothing was too much trouble for Nick, he made us feel that we were the only customers of any importance.The handover was second to none, every detail was fully explained to ensure a good understanding of of all the controls and switches.
